Telephone Box Museum

We are hoping to convert the Smailholm telephone box into a small Village Museum. Our fundraising efforts have raised around £260, and we now have the paint, signs, boards, etc. for the refurbishment of the phone box, but need to consider the best location for it, which is a bit complicated! We also have a small collection of old photographs, maps, census records, school and poor law records, statistical accounts, church history, and other historical documents, but we need more so we can keep changing and updating our display; if anyone has anything else of interest, that could be copied and displayed, please contact Veronica (460276) or Jane (460254).
